PM Internship Yojana Eligibility 2025
To apply under the PM Internship Yojana scheme, the applicant needs to meet the following:
- Aged 21 – 24 years.
- Should not be employed full time.
- Must complete PM Internship Registration 2025 and profile on the official portal.
- Applicants should not be Govt. employees or applicant family members should also not be Govt. employees.
- No enrollment should be in a full time course of study.
- No family member plus applicant earn over Rs. 8,00,000 per annum.
Prime Minister Internship Scheme Benefits 2025
1. Financial Stipend: Interns would receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
- ₹4,500 by Govt.
- ₹500 by Company.
2. One Time Incidental Grant: A one time financial grant of ₹6,000 is provided to meet incidental expenses during the internship.
3. Insurance Coverage: Interns get insurance under the:
- Jeevan Jyoti Bima
- Suraksha Bima
4. Free Registration: There is no PM Internship Registration 2025 fee and this makes it accessible to all eligible youth regardless of their economic background.

PM Internship Yojana Registration 2025
Step 1: Go to pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Step 2: Start Youth Registration: Click on ‘Youth Registration’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Mobile Verification: Enter the mobile number. Check the consent box. Click Submit. Enter the OTP received and proceed.
Step 4: Create Password: Set a password and confirm it.
Step 5: Login: To sign in, use mobile number plus newly created password.
Step 6: Profile Creation: Complete your profile by entering:
- e-KYC Details (via Aadhaar or DigiLocker)
- Personal Details (Name, DOB, Address, Gender)
- Contact Information
- Educational Qualifications
- Bank Info
- Skills + Languages
Step 7: Submit & Download CV: After entering all details submit the profile and download the resume.
PMIS Internship Application Procedure 2025
Once the profile is complete applicants can start applying for internships.
Step 1: Go to Dashboard: After logging in the applicant will see a section titled ‘Internship Opportunities’.
Step 2: Filter and Search: Use filters based on:
- State/UT
- District
- Sector/Field
- Distance from your location
Step 3: View and Apply: Click View to see the internship description, location, qualifications required, benefits and more. Click Apply, answer three short questions and submit your application.
