Fourth Convocation
 |
It was celebration time at the University of Petroleum &
Energy Studies (UPES) once again. The batch of 153 graduate
and 442 postgraduate passed out after completion of their
courses at the 4th Convocation. It was a matter of pride for
the passing out students to have received their degrees from
no less than a person of the caliber of Padma Vibhushan Dr.
E. Sreedharan, Managing Director, Delhi Metro Rail
Corporation. Dr. Sreedharan has been responsible for sphere
heading a revolution in transport sector by successfully
implementing the metro rail service in India. A man of few
words Dr. Sreedharan has written a success story backed by
dedication, detailed planning and project implementation in
given time frame. |
