OTHER FEE
Industrial Tour: In order to give real
life exposure of the industry, short duration and long duration
industrial tours would be organized for all students of full
time programs. Participation in the industrial tour is
compulsory for which a fee of Rs.13000 (one time) is payable by
student at the time of admission.
Alumni: An alumni Fee of Rs.1,500 is to
be paid along with 3rd Semester Fee of MBA, M. Tech / 7th Sem.
fee of B. Tech. / 5th Sem. fee of BBA / 9th Sem. fee of LLB.
Personality Development: To improve one’s
effectiveness in interpersonal interactions and derive new
skills & techniques for effective outputs, it is mandatory for
all the
students to attend the Personality Development
Program organized by UPES for which an amount of Rs.10000
alongwith 2rd Semester Fee in case of Post Graduate Program
(MBA/ MTECH) or Rs.15000 alongwith 3rd Semester Fee in case of
Under Graduate Program (BBA/ Integrated BBA/ BTECH/ Integrated
BTECH/ LLB/ LLB + MBA) is payable by the student.
Refundable Security: Refundable security
(interest free) of Rs. 20,000 for computer/library/lab services
is also payable at the time of admission. In case any taxes/
levies on fee are charged/to be charged by the University, as
levied by the Central/ State/Local Authorities/Overseas
Authorities from time to time, the same shall also be borne by
the students.
HOSTEL
UPES has limited in-house hostel facilities on
first-cum-first serve basis for boys at Dehradun & Rajahmundry
and for girls at Rajahmundry only. UPES has tie-up with certain
hostel agencies for availing hostel facility for girls students
in Dehradun city.
The students willing to avail hostel facility
(whether outsourced or in-house) at Dehradun & Rajahmundry will
have to deposit an amount of Rs.10,000 towards interest free
security for hostel and an amount of Rs.62,500 for hostel fee
for one Academic Year (2009-2010). Students who have given
consent to avail hostel facility will not be allowed
to withdraw in any case during the academic year
in progress and the fee shall not be refunded under any
circumstances.
Students residing inside the campus will be
provided Transportation facility to and fro to the city once a
week. Girls students in Dehradun campus residing in outsourced
accommodation will be provided Transportation facility to fro to
the campus.
The students pursuing courses from NCR centre,
Gurgaon have to make their own accommodation arrangements.
TRANSPORTATION
Students of Dehradun campus residing in the city
and wishing to avail transportation facility to the UPES campus
will have to deposit an amount of Rs.15,000 yearly.
