Endowments

UPES is an unique model of private- public partnership (PPP). It is not recipient of grants or financial aid from any Government body. The industry is positively poised and supports UPES by allowing access to its vast knowledge base and valuable experience to students by visits to the important installations. Many scholarships have also been donated by professionals in their individual capacity.

Petronet LNG (PLL) has sanctioned an endowment of Rs. 2 crore to establish a Chair-professorship in LNG business. With this magnanimous help from PLL, UPES has taken Mr. Tom James, Principal with Deloitte UK in the area of Energy Trading and Price Risk Management as the Chair-professor. 

UPES looks up to the industry, associations, societies and individuals for their financial support to inculcate excellence in Energy education. It also welcomes laboratory equipments, books and sports facilities.
