ADMISSION CRITERIA: Only Personal Interview

                                            OR

(1) Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

(2) Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level also mandatory

(3) AIEEE- upto 1 Lakh All India Rank or any

     State Level Engineering Entrance Examination-upto 25,000 Rank

ADMISSION CRITERIA: Only Personal Interview

100% Scholarship on Academic Fee (2009-10):

BTECH (All streams): Will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 85% marks in class XII & 90% marks in PCM.

BBA/Integraetd BBA + MBA: Students with more than 90% marks in aggregate will be considered for scholarship in BBA/Integrated BBA + MBA programme

Note: Terms & condition for renewal will be as per scholarship policy of the University

Please Note

Candidates appearing in final year qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they submit the proof of their eligibility latest by October   31, 2009. Students failing to submit the proof of their eligibility by October 31, 2009 even on account of non declaration of results by their respective Universities, the admission will stands automatically cancelled.

Candidates  applying  for  B.  Tech.  Courses  /  Integrated  LLB  Course  will  have  to  pay an  additional  fees  of Rs.  500  towards  UPES  entrance  examination  alongwith Prospectus  fees  i.e.  Rs.1100  for  Prospectus  fee  +Rs.500  towards Examination Fee=Rs.1600/- (Rs. 1700, if required through post or courier).

For all M. Tech. programs, candidates with relevant work experience and valid GATE score may be preferred and may be offered teaching and research assistantship while pursuing the program as per University's requirements and discretion.

Admissions will be purely on the basis of merit and candidates are strongly advised against canvassing and/or extraneous pressure on the selection process. Any candidate found guilty in above activities, the candidature is liable for immediate disqualification.

The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies reserves the right to cancel any advertised course due to insufficient admissions, enrolments or for any other reason beyond its control. In such an eventuality, full fee shall be refunded.

Students with compartment in 10+2 are not eligible to apply for Under Graduate programmes
